Advertising Creation
Audio: An MP3 file of an audio recording with or without
music is acceptable. An existing radio spot would be acceptable if the content
is appropriate for The Wine Scout audience. If you require further information
on how to record, edit or format your ad, we suggest and use the following:
iRiver recording device, or sony walkman mini dv recorder with a condenser
microphone or built in microphone if the quality is good. Remove or avoid the
sound of echoes, clicks or other ambient noise. You can record directly into
your computer if you have recording software installed.
Editing can be done on freeware linear or non-linear software. We recommend
Garage Band for Mac, Wave Pad, or any professional audio software will do.
Please leave some silence before and after your ad. Name your ad with the
product or service and a date or other numerical reference you will explain and
provide in an email to us along with the file zipped or a link to a site where
we can download the file.
Your instructions should include the file name, date of insertion, the contact
name if there are questions and a two week lead time before the posting/release
date. Email to ads@thewinescout.com and copy to info@thewinescout.com
Video: The type of video sponsorship can vary. If an on-air mention as a product
placement requires any physical materials prior to a shooting day, contact
video@thewinescout.com for dates and location, copy info@thewinescout.com on
the email.
On air sponsorships may vary from existing TV spot materials placed in our show
format, or a title card sponsorship with a voice over. The Wine Scout
production group can work with you to produce the materials you need. Contact
video@thewinescout.com, copy info@thewinescout.com on the email. The Wine Scout reserves the right to filter out inappropriate advertising content for our audience.
